“The first thing I noticed is he's very comfortable in his skin,” Stroupe said. “He doesn't need to be like other people. His body language is very calm. He's very controlled, emotionally level. Your spiritual, mental and emotional energy is very important at the quarterback position. And I was very pleased to see that in our first interaction, that he has a level of maturity some people never attain.
While meeting with the media Thursday, Sarkisian said he had a “pretty good idea” of who he planned to start in Week 1. But, he added, “I want to give these guys an opportunity to compete, so that’s what we’ll do.”
