Most assumed Sarkisian's decision would come next week — after Saturday’s second closed scrimmage of August. But this is Ewers' team now.
But now, Texas is Ewers’ team. Sarkisian confirmed Thursday that whoever wins the starting job will immediately start taking practice repetitions with the first-team offense and the backup, sophomore Hudson Card, will now be with the second team.
