A 46-year-old inmate died after being found unresponsive during a check, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday evening. The inmate, Michael Rosas , apparently suffered a medical episode while in the jail’s booking section, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Those experiencing withdrawal symptoms from alcohol or benzodiazepine, a class of drugs used to treat depression, also will need clearance.
