After seven years away, Bernadette Peters is coming back to Broadway. Peters, who is known as one of the great interpreters of Stephen Sondheim songs, will star with Lea Salonga in the musical tribute to the great composer and lyricist who passed away in 2021.will be presented in New York by the Manhattan Theatre Club this coming spring. The show, which is devised by Cameron Mackintosh and directed by Matthew Bourne, will run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theater.
The idea behind the ad is that when it comes to aging well, the benefits of feeling younger outweighs looking younger. Their tip for an anti-aging routine is to eat Breyers CarbSmart “anti-aging cream.” Breyers commissioned a study which found that a majority of Americans 55 and over say being healthy is key to living a fulfilling life, versus 23 percent who said the same about appearing physically youthful.
"I find it important to do the things in life that makes you feel good and spark joy,” says Peters. “So, this time around with such an emotional campaign that’s relevant to my own life, I’m feeling connected and inspired to remind all women that aging well isn’t just about how you look, but feel and that includes enjoying life’s simple pleasures.”
