Kumpulan yang diketuai Nani Sakam, yang juga bekas pengarah tugas-tugas khas PKR Sabah, turut mendakwa 8,000 penyokong masing-masing akan menyertai mereka keluar parti itu Menurutnya kumpulan berkenaan belum menentukan hala tuju perjuangan politik selepas ini, tetapi menyokong kerajaan sedia ada. Dalam perkembangan berkaitan, ketua biro disiplin PKR Sabah Sazalye Donol berkata, parti itu tidak mengambil peduli berhubung kenyataan Karim dengan berkata, PKR Sabah semakin berkembang dengan hampir 170,000 ahli sehingga kini.
