Genevive Courtney who witnessed it all said it happened around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday when she noticed a guy driving the stolen excavator recklessly and damaging the city park. Residents said a few days ago they saw a man with a different kind of heavy machinery and was dropping off pallets into this area. They add it’s frustrating and scary how a man was able to steal that kind of equipment.
