BBC 's latest intense drama Nightsweeper premiered on Sunday evening but immediately prompted some complaints from viewers. This six-episode narrative thrusts its audience into the gripping situation aboard a train journey from Glasgow to London, which is thrown into chaos by cyber terrorists.
However, the portrayal of railway life in Britain in the series has struck a discordant note with some fans, who branded certain elements as 'unrealistic'. Chagrined viewers aired their criticisms on social media regarding the show's authenticity when compared to the actual British rail experience. Paul Towmy questioned the show's research saying: "Who wrote #NightSleeper - u had the makings of something good but I feel you've never ACTUALLY ever BEEN a train in the UK. Nevermind - u tried.", reports Birmingham Live.
