BBC bosses are said to be 'desperate' to poach Holly Willoughby from ITV and according to reports executives are looking to offer her a presenter's role on hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
However, reports say they have been waiting for the right job to come along. It has been a turbulent few months for Holly after her co-star on This Morning Phillip Schofield sensationally quit, reports the Express.It is now being reported that ITV are looking to slot her into their flagship Saturday night show - Strictly Come Dancing. The show, which has been running since 2004, is currently hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
"They know how popular she is, but it also has to be the right programme. Recently there has been talk around the BBC that Strictly would be a way to lure her over. There are ideas of how she could slot in – nobody is quite sure about that yet but they think she would be perfect.
