BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty has rushed to the defense of Friday night's Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, despite the four-hour extravaganza drawing mixed reactions from viewers around the globe.
Team GB's Olympic champions Tom Daley and Helen Glover made Britain proud as they carried our flag along the Seine in high spirits. Speaking on his experience viewing the ceremony, her co-host Mike Bushell admitted he found it enjoyable but also sparked debate: "I was on a lot of group chats, and lots of different opinions. A lot of people thought it was a bit weird and disjointed in the end", reports the Mirror.Despite this, he gave credit where it's due: "But there were some fabulous moments."
