A Vallejo man is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he was involved in a fatal head-on collision on Silverado Trail, according to the California Highway Patrol.

He’s accused of causing a multi-vehicle collision on Silverado Trail, which had to be shut down between Oak Knoll Avenue and Yountville Cross Road. The crash occurred around noon Saturday and the road reopened by 6 p.m., according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.Brumley was reportedly driving south in a Mitsubishi sedan when he crossed into the opposite lane and struck an SUV before colliding head-on with a Toyota sedan.Four people who were reportedly traveling in the Toyota sedan were all transported to Kaiser Vacaville hospital, where one passenger was later pronounced dead.
