“Bumabagyo man, hindi nagpatinag ang DPS -Manila Team Mandaragat sa paglilinis ng Baseco Beach ,” the city government said. Most of the garbages were non-biodegradable waste like plastic bags and bottles, straws, product packagings, and styrofoam. DPS- Manila said the garbages were scattered on the beachfront due to the heavy downpour and strong wind caused by the southwest monsoon and super typhoon Egay.The local government noted that the "DPS Baseco Beach Warriors" will continue conducting clean-up drives on the city's shores even after the monsoon and typhoon.related stories
