BART service completely stopped on a portion of the Dublin-Pleasanton line just before 6 a.m. Wednesday due to a fatality on the trackway, officials said. The agency gave no estimated time for when trains would start running on this line again. There is no train service between the West Dublin/Pleasanton station and the Dublin/Pleasanton station, the transit agency said in an alert. The Dublin/Pleasanton station is closed.
“We’re working to establish a bus bridge between those two stations,” BART spokesperson Anna Duckworth said.BART service has stopped on the Dublin/Pleasanton Line. There is no train service between West Dublin/Pleasanton and Dublin/Pleasanton due to a major medical emergency.The disruption in service came as BART's red line service between Richmond and Millbrae, including the San Francisco International Airport, has been suspended since March 6 due to power issues.
