The bank aims to eliminate 97 jobs at that site. Heritage Bank intends to eliminate five jobs in San Mateo, four in both Walnut Creek and Danville, three in both San Rafael and San Francisco, and one job each in Oakland, Livermore, Los Altos, Morgan Hill and Hollister., the San Bernardino County-based owner of Citizens Business Bank, announced an $811 million deal whereby Heritage would be merged into CVB Financial. CVB Financial expects to complete its purchase of Heritage Commerce by the end of the April-through-June second quarter, the two banks stated.
