Bally Sports is adding some familiar names to its broadcasts of Cleveland Guardians games this season.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Pat Tabler, best known as Mr. Clutch for his penchant for getting a hit with the bases loaded during his playing days in Cleveland during the 1980s, will join the longtime announcing team of Rick Manning and Matt Underwood in the booth on select games. Andre Knott continues his role as the on-field reporter.
Every game will be bookended by “Guardians Live” pregame and postgame editions with Al Pawlowski and Jensen Lewis returning as hosts. Joining them on a rotating basis are Ellis Burks and Chris Gimenez. Burks is remembered for bringing stability and power to the lineup as the team’s DH from 2001-03. Gimenez made an impression with his versatility as a catcher, first baseman and outfielder during his stints with the franchise in 2009-10 and 2014.
Bally Sports Great Lakes is scheduled to carry 155 of the 162 games in the regular season, but the recent
