Larian Studios has other priorities but is apparently quite eager to do more with Baldur’s Gate 3 before moving on.
Aside from clarifying that no such expansion was in development, Vincke explained that it’d be too difficult given the scope of the base game and the Dungeons & Dragons rules it’s based on.
He didn’t entirely rule it out, though, and it turns out that the development team has been having discussions about doing more with Baldur’s Gate 3, besides the typical patches, before moving on. The main priority is, unsurprisingly, finishing work on the PlayStation 5 version of the game, which is scheduled toPlus, the team needs a holiday, but it sounds like they’re eager to remain in the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 for a bit longer once they return to work.
