Bobby Maravilla Jr., a chemical engineering graduate of the University of Saint La Salle-Bacolod, has ranked 10th in the November 2024 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission. Maravilla received an 88.40 percent rating in the exam, overcoming significant challenges during his college years.

“My college years were relentless, the path was not easy,” Maravilla said in an interview with Citybridge.Maravilla said that he did not graduate in a regular semester as he failed in the last assessment that defined his graduation.This obstacle allowed him to develop a reason to regain himself and top the board exam.
Maravilla attributed his achievement to his family. “They provided an environment where I did not worry about the repercussions if I failed. They provided peace and financial support,” he said.
