BAY POINT — A confrontation between two large groups of people Sunday ended with a shooting that injured a 7-month-old and a man, authorities said.Man accused of 2002 East Bay rape should be free pending trial, attorney argues

The infant and the man both were taken to a hospital with injuries related to the gunfire, Lee said. The infant apparently was grazed by a bullet, he said. He had no information on the man’s condition. The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information to contact them at 925-313-2600 or 925-646-2441.
