CORONAVIRUS | The idea is not to give an excuse to people to go out and flout the MCO during Ramadan, says senior minister.
The authorities seek to limit excuses to flout the movement control order if the e-bazaar is implemented during the upcoming Ramadan, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said the cabinet is concerned there may be people who might use the excuse of picking up an order from a Ramadan bazaar to the police. This might lead to situations where others may use that excuse merely to violate MCO. “Even if we place an order vie e-bazaar, if it involves physically picking up at a Ramadan bazaar, there would be crowding.
