North Bergen police responded to the scene that morning and found that a Honda Pilot operated by Inoa struck a pedestrian on the east side sidewalk of the intersection.
A North Bergen SUV driver who seriously injured a 65-year-old woman when he struck her on a township sidewalk last month has been charged assault by auto while DWI and causing serious bodily injury, authorities said.
Steve Inoa, 40, was arrested Tuesday by members of the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit for the crash that occurred at the intersection of Bergenline Avenue and 92nd Street just after 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 8, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
