Australia will provide a fresh round of military aid for Ukraine in July, the first such package in almost six months, with the wartorn nation asking for helpUkraine Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov met Defence Minister Richard Marles on the sidelines of the Shangri-La security dialogue in Singapore on Friday, where they discussed the latest contribution Australia can make to help repel Russia’s invasion.on Twitter, Mr Reznikov described the talks as “meaningful”.

“I asked our Australian friends to consider the possibility of training Ukrainian pilots, providing medical evacuation vehicles and means of electronic warfare against drones.“I was moved by my colleague’s remarks for Ukraine’s extraordinary bravery, which inspires so many people. Invited him to visit Ukraine.”
