The Alameda Unified School District welcomed back more than 9,000 students when schools opened last week, including about 250 4-year-old “Transitional Kindergarten” students, one of whom walks with adults above, who must turn 5 between Sept. 2 this year and June 2, 2025, to be eligible.
This year, we’re excited to announce the hiring of more than a half-dozen new site administrators who bring a wealth of education, experience, enthusiasm and passion to their new district roles. Those administrators are listed below.Assistant principal at Ruby Bridges Elementary School. Ms. Allison received her bachelor of arts degree in English language and literature from Westmont College and her master of arts degree in educational leadership and administration from Colorado State University.
She received bachelor’s degrees in English literature and creative writing from Cal State San Bernadino and master’s degrees in education and educational leadership from Cal State East Bay and Mills College, respectively.Assistant principals at Lincoln Middle School. Ms. Davis is an experienced middle school English teacher and instructional leader.
Most recently, she was a Lincoln Middle School assistant principal.
