He swiftly exited the court, clutching his shoulder, and did not return. During the second half, he was observed on the Auburn bench with a sling on his right arm, maintaining a positive demeanor by cheering and interacting with teammates.
In a post-game interview with Auburn radio, coach Bruce Pearl expressed doubt that Broome would be available to play against Purdue. Pearl initiated his press conference by addressing Broome's injury but refrained from providing a precise timeline. 'Obviously, his right shoulder kind of came out. Came right back. He did it a year ago, so he's had some experience with it,' Pearl stated. 'We'll take a look at it tomorrow and tell you more, but we hope he's going to be okay.'
