Auburn added more depth to its offensive line on Wednesday with a Miami transfer
Auburn keeps adding to its rebuilt offensive line, this time landing a commitment from someone who played in the national championship game. Former Miami offensive lineman Deryc Plazz announced his commitment to Auburn on Wednesday night, becoming the ninth offensive line Auburn has added this offseason.
He also becomes the Tigers’ 35th incoming transfer overall.Plazz spent two seasons at Miami, but played sparingly. He redshirted in 2024, meaning he’ll have three years of eligibility remaining when he arrives at Auburn. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Plazz was a three-star prospect out of high school, according to 247Sports. With Plazz now committed, Auburn is up to 14 incoming offensive linemen between transfers and true freshmen. That comes after the Tigers lost 12 offensive linemen from the 2025 roster. The transfer portal closed for players to enter last Friday, but players already in the portal can still sign with schools after that.
