Auburn golf signs Billy and Anna Davis, both twins ranked No. 1 in their class

Billy Davis is the top-ranked junior golfer and has already played on the PGA Tour.

The Auburn men’s and women’s golf teams signed a pair of No. 1 ranked twins in Billy and Anna Davis during Wednesday’s signing day, the teams announced.

At just 17 years old, Billy Davis has already played on the PGA Tour. He shot four under par on the front nine during the first round of the World Wide Technology Championship last week in Mexico — his first nine holes ever of professional golf. He would go on to shoot under par overall through the first two rounds, but missed the cut.Chasing dreams and learning lessons along the way.The twins went to Rome this summer to play with the United States team at the 2023 Junior Ryder Cup.

Current Auburn graduate student golfer Megan Schofill beat Anna Davis during match play on her way to winning the 2023 U.S. Amateur Championship. Schofill’s coaches and parents all said that once she beat Davis was the moment they truly believed she could go on to win the whole tournament.
