Auburn Athletics announced today that the Tigers Men’s Basketball team will open up the Maui Invitational against Iowa State on November 25.

“This year’s Maui Invitational is one of the strongest fields in tournament history,” said Dave Odom, Tournament Chairman and legendary collegiate coach. “The field is packed with teams looking to make a run in the NCAA Tournament along with UConn, which is making its fifth appearance in the Maui Invitational and looking to defend its back-to-back national championships.”
The Tigers and Cyclones will meet for the fifth time in school history, with the all-time series tied at 2-2. This will also be Auburn’s second appearance in the Maui Invitational. Last time out, they went 2-1, defeating both Xavier and Arizona before eventually falling to Duke in the semifinals.
