Thompson, who flipped his longstanding commitment to Alabama to rival Auburn during Big Cat Weekend, threw a 33-yard TD pass to get the Lions going early.Thompson had to share the limelight with fellow senior Kolton Nero. He rushed for 288 yards and 3 TDS on 19 carries for Foley .Juniors Cooper Hermecz and Shaborn Oakes each had a TD reception.
The win was Foley’s first over Prattville since 2013 and just their second in nine attempts. Prattville won 34-20 a year ago.Thompson dominated early with a pass TD & rushing TD in the first quarter of Foley’s season opener vs. Prattville
