Matthew Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth are back in the fold after a few January weeks away from competition and are sitting atop an otherwise light odds board this week. We break it down in our AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting preview below.
The draw for the annual Pebble Beach stop has decreased in recent years as many of the Tour's top dogs look to fit a week of rest in ahead of a crucial February stretch that includes the WM Phoenix Open and Genesis Invitational — both elevated events in the PGA Tour's new scheduling format.
With that said, this year's odds board features three guys a cut above the rest of the field: 2017 champion Jordan Spieth , Matt Fitzpatrick , and Viktor Hovland . Spieth is making his first start on the West Coast swing, having not played since a missed cut at the Sony Open. Similarly, Fitz and Hovland haven't played since the Sentry.
The second tier features Seamus Power , defending champion Tom Hoge , and 2021 runner-up Maverick McNealy . Beyond that, you'll be hard-pressed to find a household name teeing it up this week.
