Still having arm issues, Astros' Lance McCullers to have MRI to diagnose problem
Houston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. reacts after giving up a solo home run to Philadelphia Phillies Rhys Hoskins in the fifth inning during Game 3 of the World Series at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, in Philadelphia.TORONTO — Lance McCullers Jr., will have an MRI on Friday to diagnose the forearm discomfort that popped back up while rehabbing from a forearm injury he suffered on the first days of spring training.
"I talked to him and, of course, he's frustrated," Brown said."He's a competitor and he's a little frustrated because he's working so hard to come back and he's put so much time into it." After the February injury, the MRI revealed his ulnar collateral ligament from his previous Tommy John surgery still was in good shape. That's something that will be looked at again in Friday's scan.
