France had a no-hitter going until the sixth inning, when with one out Luis Rengifo deposited a first-pitch changeup into the Astros’ bullpen for a game-tying solo homer.went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double. Alex Bregman’s hitting streak reached 11 games as he went 2-for-4. After Rengifo’s blast evened the score, Shoehi Ohtani doubled in the go-ahead run for the Angels in the eighth inning off of Phil Maton.Here are a few takeaways from the game:While France stumped the Angels, the Astros had a tough time against Angels starter Griffin Canning. In six innings against Canning, the Astros struck four hits with one walk and left five runners on base.
