Assault docket disappears after Mashatile’s advisor allegedly assaults ex-wife
Bongani Mnguninewly appointed international advisor Mukoni Ratshitanga has evaded prosecution after an assault docket opened by his ex-wife, Phumzile Kotane, went missing at the Midrand Police Station last year.
Ratshitanga, who was also the spokesperson for former president Thabo Mbeki, is alleged to have beat up Kotane, who is his second ex-wife and mother to two of his seven children, in February 2022 during an altercation.Get 14 days free to read all our investigative and in-depth journalism.
