CLEVELAND, Ohio - The suspect in the fatal shooting of a viral Garfield Heights father is set to be arraigned in the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Friday morning. A Cuyahoga County Grand Jury indicted the man, Waunyae Arrington , 29, accused in the deadly shooting Thursday.
Arrington was indicted on the charges of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and having weapons while under disability for the murder of Jose Ervin Jr.29-year-old old Waunyae Arrington was charged with murder Thursday in connection to the death Jose Ervin Jr. on Oct. 4, according to a Garfield Heights Facebook post.Ervin was killed following an argument with Arrington around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 4 near Turney and McCracken Roads, according to Garfield Heights police.‘Everybody loved him’ Family of Garfield Heights shooting victim holds vigil Last year, 19 News spoke with Ervin about the unique connection he, his wife, and twins shared: the same birthday.“Now just shortly a year and some change later, you’re covering his death, his murder for no reason,” Ervin’s sister said at vigil days after his death.
