Army could deliver essential food to those in coronavirus self-isolation COVID19
Health Secretary Matt Hancock has vowed to use the nation's resources to tackle the spread of coronavirus.
The new cases were recorded in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - up from 3,269 as the country goes into lockdown. Brits have been told to practise social distancing and work from home where possible - with pubs and restaurants now shut.
