Arlington Officer Darrin McMichael was killed in an early morning accident on I-20 in Southeast Dallas while he was on his way to work. Police are now searching for an SUV that left the scene after running over the officer.
The crash happened between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday, in the westbound lanes of the interstate near St. Augustine Road.
