Cleveland Heights police are seeking a woman who attacked her sister as they spoke in their recently deceased mother's bedroom. At 8:30 a.m. Sept. 27, police were called to a woman’s home where an act of violence had occurred between the woman and a man, who was no longer on the scene. The woman told police that the man used to live with her and returns occasionally for visits.
The woman went into a bathroom to call police. The man broke the bathroom’s door handle, entered and tried to hit her with a hair clipper. He then left. She told police she did not want to pursue a charge against the man, but that she didn’t want him to return to her home.On Sept. 27, police took an online written statement from a woman who stated her concern over threats made while her husband walked their dogs at 6:45 a.m. that day.
Police spoke with the neighbor, who denied making any threats. He said he was asleep and the barking woke him and that he only told the woman’s husband, “Really? At 5:30 in the morning?”At 8:15 p.m. Sept. 28, police were dispatched to a home on Overlook Road where a woman attacked her sister. Officers learned that the two women were in the bedroom of their mother, who had recently died.
When police spoke to the victim, she had blood running down her cheek. She said it was the second time her sister had assaulted her that blood was drawn. These males then picked up some of the bullet casings from the street, but officers went on to find a couple more. The clerk told police that the suspect was acting “funny.” She and the male customer followed the suspect, who said to the clerk that he was “not going anywhere” and that she should “call the cops.”
