As “Love Island USA” star Leah Kateb explained in the Season Six finale, her journey on the reality dating show took a turn the minute she coupled up with Miguel Harichi. Leah, a fan-favorite from the beginning, had a rough start on the show. She initially coupled up with Rob Rausch on Day One and the two seemed to build a solid connection. But Rob’s head turned when bombshell Andrea Carmona entered the villa, causing a rift in his relationship with Leah.

Miguel worried that being in a couple with Leah would remind him of his tension-filled childhood. He revealed in his confessional interview that he watched his parents constantly bicker as a child and didn’t want to repeat that cycle. Miguel opened up to Leah about his concerns and she understood. But he said he didn’t want to allow one bad moment to sour their budding romance. From there, the two didn’t face any other obstacles.
