Juan R. Luciano, the chairman and CEO of Chicago-based food processor and commodities trading company Archer-Daniels-Midland, and his wife, Carolina, on Jan. 31 paid $1.85 million for a condominium on the 46th floor of the One Bennett Park building in Streeterville.
The purchase is the second condo that the couple have bought in the building, after paying $5.72 million in March 2022 for a three-bedroom, 4,798-square-foot half-floor unit on the 61st floor.A native of Argentina who previously had worked at Dow Chemical, Luciano was named ADM’s CEO in 2015, and he became chairman the following year.
The Lucianos bought the 46th-floor condo directly from One Bennett Park’s developer, so details on it were not immediately available. However, condos in One Bennett Park have been relatively slow to move. The building’s developer sold 13 units in 2022. The Lucianos’ $5.72 million purchase last year, by contrast, was a resale. The Lucianos have been no strangers to owning high-rise condos in Streeterville. They paid $1.
