Officer hurt in Arcadia
An Arcadia police officer was injured, along with two civilians, in a shooting in Arcadia on Wednesday night, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said.
LASD was assisting Arcadia PD in responding to an “officer down” call, Deputy Chen said. The department said details regarding what the officer was responding to were still under investigation. An emergency alert from Arcadia Police Department sent out around 6:50 p.m. told residents there was police activity and an investigation in the 2500 block of Greenfield Avenue.The shooting scene, near Arcadia Golf Course, was flooded Wednesday night with emergency responders.
CBS Los Angeles reported the injured were being taken to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena for treatment.
