"The new port is easily mistaken for Lightning, which it replaces, but the giveaway is it is notably wider, and the dummy models show USB-C is coming to all four iPhone 15 models. iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to have faster data speeds, which may get the company in trouble with the EU.The big ticket items for WWDC are worth nothing.
"The company is planning two new Mac models — labeled internally as Mac 14,13 and Mac 14,14 — that run the M2 Max processor announced in January and a yet-to-be-unveiled M2 Ultra chip. That second processor would replace the M1 Ultra model currently featured in the Mac Studio, a high-end desktop announced in March 2022.
"Recently, Canalys claimed that Apple more than doubled its iPad sales in China in Q1 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. Now the same research firm reports that US iPad sales in the same period were dramatically better than for any other tablet.
