Ted Kuntz was left baffled when he was told that a blanket he kept 'over the back of a chair' was worth nearly half a million. He later sold it and paid off his mortgage.
An Antiques Roadshow guest headed along with a blanket that he kept "over the back of a chair" in his home, but he broke down after he was told about how much it was worth.
Ted said that the blanket was given to his grandmother's foster father by Kit Carson, a US frontiersman. When Donald heard that, he changed his estimation. Donald smiled: "Sir, you have a national treasure. When you walked in with this I just about died. Congratulations."
