KUALA LUMPUR: Six more Covid-19 cases have been discharged on Thursday (May 12), making it a total of 32 recovered cases, according to the Health Ministry.
Currently, there are four cases in the intensive care unit, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah urged all who attended the tabligh mass gathering at the Sri Petaling mosque from Feb 27 to March 1 to refrain from performing their solat or the Friday solat in mosques and surau, especially those who have symptoms. "They should refrain from performing solat in mosques and surau until they are certified healthy," he said in his tweet on Saturday .
In another tweet, Dr Noor Hisham advised mosque and surau committees and management to take preventive and cleaning measures for their mosques and surau. He also recommended that they clean the carpet, doors and railings frequently with detergent and disinfectant.
