The Department of Law said in a release that 19-year-old Brendan Clark was charged with criminally negligent homicide for hitting Nadara Williams of Big Lake while riding a dirt bike on July 8 along South Big Lake Road. Alaska State Troopers said at the time that Clark was issued a $100 fine for operating an off-highway vehicle in an area intended for pedestrians.Troopers said that Clark was operating a dirt bike on the paved walking path “at a high rate of speed,” before colliding with Williams.
