Anthony Pisano was found guilty Monday on all 10 felony charges tied to the killings. The case previously ended in mistrial in 2020.
Anthony Pisano listens to arguments during his murder trial on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023 at the Nesbett Courthouse in Anchorage. Pisano’s last trial for the 2017 murder of three men at the Bullion Brothers shop ended in a mistrial after the jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
During the lengthy trial, attorneys painted sharply different images about what happened the day of the murders. Pisano had been introduced to Dupree and Cook by a member of the Anchorage Police Department to help the business owners with security services at the gold shop that opened in 2015, attorneys for both sides said during opening statements.
Pisano developed a close relationship with Dupree and Cook and frequently spent time at the store, both attorneys said.
