DURBAN - The African National Congress ’s national working committee will spend two days in some of its regions in KwaZulu-Natal to assess the state of its structures.
KwaZulu-Natal is one of the ANC’s strongholds, but the party was dealt a blow in the recent polls, losing the province and only obtaining 17% of the vote. The ANC said it wants to evaluate the party's state at a local level to see what interventions are needed.This visit also comes as some of the regions are preparing to go to elective conferences.
