WILLIAMSPORT – A nearly three-year-old homicide in Williamsport appears to be linked to a long-standing dispute between two rival street gangs in Philadelphia.
at 3:23 a.m. April 6, 2020, in the driver’s side front seat of a SUV that had come to rest against a structure in the 300 block of Bridge Street. The contents of the messages included telling Nobles to get a hotel room and directing him to pick up El stating: “I’m in the spot u know where I’m at.” Location records for one of the other numbers showed activity on the area around Bridge Street about the time of the shooting and then leaving the city.
El, who has lived in Philadelphia, considers the reputed leader of that gang, Shakeem Taylor, as a father-like figure, police claim.
