Williamsport police said Shakya El worked with at least two others to kill Philadelphia man Amir Nobles on April 6, 2020.
Authorities charged a Williamsport woman Tuesday saying she conspired with multiple shooters to lure a man to an address where he was killed in 2020.Philadelphia man Amir Nobles,When Nobles arrived, he contacted El again, but she stopped communicating with him, police said. At the same time, Nobles was shot inside his vehicle.Officers were called to the block at 3:32 a.m. on April 6, where they found Nobels still inside the vehicle, according to police. He later died from the gunshot wounds.
Investigators said that based on the conversation between El and Nobles immediately before the shooting, “it was apparent” that El had lured him to the area to be shot. El, now 21, was arrested with assistance from the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force and state police, and charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit murder of the first degree, aggravated assault and criminal use of a communication facility.Police did not name the shooters in the case, but said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are pending.
