Support for incumbent Republican Senator Ted Cruz could be narrowing according to a new poll out Friday that shows – for the first time – his Democratic challenger ahead of him. This comes as Cruz and challenger Colin Allred The numbers from the Morning Consult show Allred one point ahead of Cruz – 45 percent of 44 percent – among likely voters. That is still within the margin of error, but it is also the first poll to show Allred ahead.
The Senate race debate is scheduled for next month, October 15th at 7 pm at TV station WFAA in Dallas and we will, of course, bring you the highlights of the debate, which happens just three weeks before Election Day.
