Ruby Lawrence, the restaurant’s owner, said she always had a passion for cooking.
ABBEVILLE, Ala. - A hometown hotspot for food in Abbeville is Ruby’s Restaurant. It’s not too far from downtown, probably less than a mile.They’ve been serving the area for almost twenty years.
“From beef tips, fried chicken, we have steaks at a time, we also have hamburger steaks, we just offer a variety of ‘Whatever you need, Ruby’s most likely have it,’” Lawrence said. Lawrence’s mother died almost two years after the restaurant opened. Her legacy lives on through the walls of Ruby’s Restaurant.
