Alexa grew up in fan communities. From Xena to Star Trek, she has spent her life steeped In pop culture. From her first convention at seven to her most recent piece of fan writing, her love of stories in all their forms guided her to a career as a writer.
Alexa currently lives somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. When she isn't writing for ScreenRant, she's working on her debut novel, wandering the woods with her dog, or finding a new fandom to explore. Some of her favorites include Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Wheel of Time. And anything involving Bucky Barnes is an instant favorite.A 1996 Doctor Who companion novel almost set the rule that the Doctor could survive anything, which modern episodes definitely wouldn't agree with.
