Carbon Hill police Officer Jordan Driver was airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham Thursday, Aug. 29, after the wreck in Fayette.
Jordan Driver, a Carbon Hill police officer, was driving his motorcycle in Fayette Thursday morning when he wrecked. No other vehicles were involved.Carbon Hill police Chief Clark Sanford said Driver is expected to have a lengthy recovery and will likely be off work for a year. The GoFundMe says he will be hospitalized for roughly three months.
“We are so thankful he is still here with us be he has a long road to recovery,’’ according to the GoFundMe. “We are raising money for Jordan so he will not have to worry about the financial strain of not being able to work.
