State Rep. Barbara Drummond filed paperwork on Feb. 3 with the Alabama Secretary of State's office for a run at the open Mobile mayoral seat on Aug. 26.

State Rep. Barbara Drummond, D-Mobile, officially registered her principal campaign committee with the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office on Feb. 3. No further details were included, and Drummond said an official announcement will be forthcoming.
